Racing Club Warwick have refreshed the committee as they move into the next phase of growth which includes a new artificial surface and surrounding infrastructure.
Dave Berger, Ian Ray and Phil Salter join the executive board to add to Kevin Walsh and Gary Vella with Jason Pyott, Ralph Heeley and Elaine O'Neill joining Ryan Goode and Ruth Vella to make up the remainder of the committee.
Chairman Gary Vella said 'It is vital that we reinvigorate and ensure that the right people are on-board as we move into a crucial stage of the club's regeneration. The people coming in are both football and business people and I am delighted to have them. It has taken several months to get to this stage and I look forward to the next few months now in earnest. In the next month or so we will look to recharge the junior section which we expect to grow by several teams over the summer. Anybody wishing to step up to help is more than welcome at this exciting time".
Dave Berger is a successful local businessman and joins as Vice-Chairman. Ian Ray, who is already the clubs development and welfare officer, will work with Jason Pyott to implement the club philosophy and help to ensure that the right pathways and opportunities are in place. Both Ian and Jason are UEFA qualified coaches and also successful businessmen. Phil Salter joins as club treasurer. Phil is an ardent Racer and ex Bank Manager and his skill-set will be vital to the club as we grow exponentially. Elaine has been working with the club looking at funding opportunities and will help to manage the administration at the club as it implements the artificial surface. Ralph has been the site tidy for a couple of years and will be a key on-site person during and post the infrastructure changes.
The club would like to thank Debi O'Hare and Adam Elswood who have moved on for their part at Racing Club over the past few years.
